Judy Menczel presents and Fay Sussman performs at Limmud-Oz Sydney, 2015

Limmud-Oz 2015, the Festival of Jewish Ideas, is one of the largest, most dynamic and impactful events of the Sydney Jewish community. This year, 'Pockets of Hope' Director Judy Menczel and Co-producer Fay Sussman will each participate at Limmud-Oz.

JEWISH WORLD MUSIC:

Fay Sussman and her talented musicians from the Klezmer Divas, Anatoli Torjinksi and Emily-Rose Sarkova, will be playing traditional Eastern European Jewish jazz,. Their unique music includes a modern interpretation of Klezmer, making it more relevant to the 21st century and helping keep the Yiddish language alive. Her show will include some of the songs that she performed at a sold-out show at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, built on the site of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
